Incarta: Transforming Critical Care with Advanced EMR Technology
Incarta is an Australian company specializing in developing advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare, Incarta provides cutting-edge tools that empower professionals to improve patient care and streamline critical medical processes.
Incarta approached Cosmo with the need to design a dashboard for their Alarta Critical Care EMR application. The dashboard needed to provide real-time monitoring and recording of critical data points, integrating seamlessly with APIs and wearable monitoring devices. Additional functionalities were required, such as call initiation, post-discharge audits, and admission reviews, to ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and care.
Cosmo designed and developed a highly functional dashboard using React and Laravel, tailored to meet Incarta's specific requirements. To complement the dashboard, the team also built Alarta MET, an extension of the EMR application, which enables healthcare professionals to access real-time monitoring data from wearable devices. This application facilitates the recording of critical data points during patient admission, treatment, and post-discharge care, ensuring a holistic approach to monitoring patient outcomes. The user-friendly dashboard enables healthcare teams to initiate calls, record and review data, and seamlessly access real-time patient information. The integration with wearable devices ensures continuous monitoring and provides additional insights for healthcare teams to make informed decisions. The post-discharge audit feature further supports patients' recovery and ensures proper care after leaving the hospital.
The Alarta MET dashboard is now fully operational, providing critical real-time data to healthcare professionals. Its intuitive interface and seamless integration with wearables have significantly improved the quality of patient monitoring and care. Healthcare teams can now easily track critical metrics, enhancing their ability to deliver timely and effective treatments.
