Shinehone: Crafting Unique Themed Pages While Preserving Site Cohesion
Shinehone is a company that specializes in manufacturing and supplying homebrew equipment. Catering primarily to businesses and wholesalers, their products are globally recognized for their quality and cost-effectiveness. Shinehone is committed to advancing draft beer and kegging equipment technology while maintaining their industry leadership.
Shinehone approached us with a unique challenge: they required eight new web pages, each with its own distinct theme, to seamlessly integrate into their website while preserving the existing overall site theme. This task necessitated creative technical solutions to maintain the site’s cohesive functionality and branding.
Recognizing WordPress’s limitation of supporting only one active theme at a time, we built a separate theme directory to host the new pages. Using the HTML templates provided by the client, we designed and implemented custom pages that matched their specifications. A significant part of the solution included creating a custom "Contact Us" page with spam prevention mechanisms. We integrated the NeverBounce API to ensure email authenticity and block fake submissions. Additionally, we developed a "Request a Quote" form to allow users to inquire about pricing directly through the website. These forms were tied to the admin panel, enabling easy data storage and automated email notifications for every submission. Once the eight new pages were completed, we updated the Store Home page style and integrated the new modules seamlessly into the existing site structure. Finally, we optimized the site for mobile, ensuring responsiveness and usability across all devices.
The completed project featured eight fully functional, custom-designed pages, each with its unique theme, while the rest of the website retained its original look. Shinehone’s website now delivers a more engaging and professional experience, with enhanced functionality such as a robust "Contact Us" page, seamless "Request a Quote" integration, and improved mobile usability—all achieved without compromising the original site theme.
